Try washing the foot and seeing if getting all the dirt and muck off uncovers one. I’ve found that if it’s a small puncture the foot can still swell up significantly, but the actual bumble part can be easily hidden under muck and dirt.My roosters foot has been swollen lately, but I see no signs of bumble foot? He limps a little, and it seems a little hot to the touch.

It’s been like that for about 2 weeks now. The pictures don’t really show it, but it is significantly bigger than the other foot.
I looked it over pretty thoroughly, and have washed it previous to now, but I’ll look it over again, more carefully. Thank you for the reply!Try washing the foot and seeing if getting all the dirt and muck off uncovers one. Have you felt for anything that feels out of place, or injuries?I don’t think it feels different. Just like his other foot.
Yes, I didn’t see/feel anything. Something is definitely going on with his scales though.Have you felt for anything that feels out of place, or injuries?
Let's see what WR has to say, but on both feet, the rear toes looks off - On the swollen foot, it looks like there might have been a wound at the base of the rear toe - just below the spur...could be the source of infection...?So, I cleaned it and looked it over. There is a bumble scab, but it’s on the not-swollen foot. There’s so sign of a scab on the swollen one. However, there’s some pretty funky looking scales. A few on the normal foot look off as well.

And the swollen one.
My first thought was wet litter being the problem, but the floor is pretty dry in my coop. It gets dirty, but never wet.
My next thought was leg mites, but would the foot swell up from that?
Any help would be appreciated.
