I had one goose and one peafowl tested for MG, the goose's test results came back as positive, but the peafowl's test results came negative.

I have been keeping (I brought 7 peafowl from a breeder, they were hatched this year) at my neighbor's across the road, and was very careful about tracking anything there, it finally paid off when the test results came back. I will have to disinfect everything, and get the new 20 x 60 coop built, and tear down the old coops before bringing the peafowl home.
These pictures were taken a month ago. My peafowl growout coop at my neighbor's. I have 4 white, 1 silver pied, 2 blue indies. I built the coop myself. Its 4 x 8 x4.

i read the entire thread and almost broke down crying.
I'm so so sorry you had to go through that. I can't imagine having to make that decision.
I have learned alot and your thread is going to be helpful for many people in the future that may have the same problem.
I'm so sorry you lost most of your poultry :[.
Atleast got to keep your peafowl!

I spoke to our state vet in Texas a few months back about coryza and he said it is really hard to test for, and often times if a bird has it they also get infected with MG.
