Swollen vent on duck: not egg bound? Please help

My laying rescue pekin has a pretty swollen, irritated vent and I haven’t been able to find help anywhere else. She is still laying and acting relatively normal although she’s getting a little bit slower now that we are on day 3 and it isn’t looking any better. I don’t see any discharge & it just didn’t look like prolapse to me. I have no idea what else it could be or what to do for her. I’ve applied preparation H and vetericyn spray and brought her inside to do warm epsom salt baths twice a day. I’ll attach pictures from day 1, 2, & 3 in order. Has anyone seen this before?

I posted this in so many forums and Facebook groups I’m surprised no one knows what it is so I can help her. We continued giving her 2 soaks a day and prep H until it was mostly back to pink. I removed the scabbing and put her back outside because everything was improving but I feel like I did it too soon because I have her back inside now.

This is a lot more swollen than it’s been in days. I also applied a little bit of betadine so coloring may be weird in some spots

Great pictures! I think your duck might have an infection. Is a vet an option? Do you have any antibiotics?

I don’t have any antibiotics on hand. Vet was a last resort because they’d rather cull than treat but it is an option. There’s no discharge or smell so I wasn’t sure it was an infection

That yellow stuff looks like infection to me. Ideally a vet would look at a sample under the scope and see if it's bacteria or yeast, then prescribe an appropriate antibiotic, but if you can't find a vet to treat her I can make an antibiotic recommendation.

I have a three year old Pekin who is having the same issue poop is sticking to it. I think it's yeast. I do have a vet I can take mine to but she was thinking papilloma when I showed her the pictures. I was thinking a prolapsed vent, Mine has been staying outside since she gets stressed away from the flock. give her a bath every few days and I am using mineral oil on her booty to keep the stuff from sticking to her and vetricyn spray on the vent and no improvement. Is there an update on yours?
