Tagged Pigeon found us-how to get it to it's owner?

If the bird doesn't fly home-is there a way/site to track the information on the foot tag?

We had this happen once, too. Sometimes they just need to rest a bit before flying home. Otherwise, here is a website that tells you what to do. We were able to find the owner of the pigeon we found and they came and got it.

Never heard back from the NPA. We realeased the bird today-it flew away, so I hope it makes it home.

Finally got an email back from the NPA...the pigeon is from New Mexico! No wonder he was tired lol.
