You are all miracle workers!! Truly. I wish I could hug all of you.
Omelet is walking normally,...up and happy. She went from collapsing into a squat, unable to move, ...to being herself within the week.
~ scrambled eggs, cottage cheese, 1/2 a vitamin B, and a vitamin E , and each day I gave her a baby aspirin ....over The period of 3 days her health RAPIDLY improved.
(I also added rooster booster to her water. )
I love this chicken. I have had her since she was a few days old, and is now 1 1/2. She is our pet, part of our family, and she means a lot to us.

Relapse.... Back into the kennel with food and water. Limping, diarrhea. Hungry, (eating when kenneled because food is closer) ,..very thirty.

Her poop this AM. I slid this bucket under her last night so I could check in the morning.

Thank you for your concern. She is limping again, waddling and walking in a low odd position. Mainly, she just lies in a squatting position. Eats. Drinks. Wants to be with her friends but seems tired.
If she wasn’t coming out of a molt, I’d think stuck egg but none of my chickens have Laid eggs for a month , and 5 of 6 are in some stage of molt. #6 is only 9 months old and has never laid an egg. But omelet is the only one that is walking oddly ( like a baby with a dirty diaper!).
breaks my heart. She is In a kennel now with food and water. She did eat and she has had water today.

Is there a clear liquid dripping from her vent? Has she ever passed any globs of "lash egg"? (chicken pus) Is there swelling under her vent? Does it look like she's trying to push something out of her vent?

Have you given her some calcium supplement? If not, try that. If there's something in her trying to work itself out, the calcium can strengthen the contractions.
