I dunno this is the kind of thing we have to put up with from time to time as poultry keepers. The fox was just doing what foxes do, hunt to survive. I just wish that they'd hunt more rats and mice rather than my birds.

On a happier note, I saw the local game keeper today...he had three dead foxes in the back of his truck. I told him he can come onto my land to hunt. He's coming over at the weekend with a few mates.

Broody, sat all day only coming off the nest for about 20 minutes to eat and drink. She wouldn't let me anywhere near the nest while she was about.​
