What are the best things we can do to manage our flocks to keep the risks of salmonella starting in our flocks?

I personally try to keep my coop as clean as possible. I change their nest boxes anytime they look messy because I don't want poopy eggs. Don't wash your eggs in hot water, you don't want the pores to open. I also try to get my eggs in the fridge before they're 24 hours old unless I plan to hatch them. I'm open for any and all other suggestions.

raw, unfiltered ACV
also, I have heard that deep litter management makes it difficult for Salmonellae to survive....
Keep the rodents out of the feed/feeders
clean water and fresh air
