I bet its the feed you're using.

Mine do free-range all day in the back yard, but even in winter when they didn't WANT to go out we had good eggs, nice buttery taste, smooth, mild but really yummy. Bright orange stand up yolk.

My kids gobble them up and they're fussy kids!

I need to look at my package again. I know it said something about coccidiosis on it...but I really don't know what else is in it. I'll find out though.
