Taste Test: eggs from different fowl, participation encouraged

Pics
All good info. I was warned by the women I got my ducks from that one of them is broody often so I'm a little paranoid how much time she's on the nest while I'm at work ;) the egg just ended up with the rest in the basket on the kitchen counter waiting to become breakfast, but balut and knowing I have a healthy drake are the things my cooking nightmares are made of!
That's why I'm happy to have pigs. If I don't know how long an egg was hidden somewhere, it goes to the pigs, especially in summer. I've had some start to develop when I was lazy and didn't get eggs for a few days. Eggs aren't my favorite to begin with, so a bloody one is a big no for me. I don't mind normal blood spots or meat spots, but not more than that.

O My gosh guys.
I took a picture at the store...I am just now noticing the sign below the eggs.
This means I bought almost done ducks on purpose.
I can't believe this. I am a complete IDIOT!
You would think the employees would kindly let me know/double check to make sure I knew what I was buying right?
NO WONDER THEY WERE ALL LOOKING AT ME FUNNY!

So did you taste the Ballut eggs? I've found them to be fantastic!

I'm using them for a different experiment. IMG_20180323_164152.jpg

Not happening.

You know, US mid-westerners can be some of the most provincial, non-adventurous thinkers and tasters. We "elites" on the coasts learn from other cultures and cuisines across the water from us, thus broadening our tastes and knowledge. Things might seem weird at first, but when you realize that millions of people eat something without croaking, then it's worth a try!
