Tea Time.... Relax with us and have a cup of hot tea!

Hi tea loving people!

I have just read some of the past posts. Teachick and Searsmom, I'm so sorry for all that's happened to you! Sorry I haven't had a chance to read the posts earlier, how inconsiderate of me.

Teachick, hope you are back to health and that you can come back to the thread soon.

Searsmom, hope your husband is fully recovered by now and you are all doing well.

Take good care of yourselves, everyone!!!

Thank you.

I'm feeling much better now. But...
My dog got hit by a car last Wed pm and had to be put down. Then DS has a fever and hives for some still unknown reason the next day; we thought it might have been meningitis, so I spent all day in the ER with him. He's back to normal now, running around as usual. lol (and pant*pant)
Otherwise, I haven't been sleeping well. I guess I'll be having a cup of chamomile this evening. =D

Hope everything is going well for all of you.

and x2 on your DH Searsmom!!!

So sorry about your dog. We had to put our old dog down last week as well.
I keep expecting to see her.
We need some puppies now. back into the fray without delay.

I am glad your son is okay.
We want some rest. but worry when they do.
Running is good.

Chaos is my normal too. :)

TeaChick and 3goodeggs: Sorry to hear about your dogs!!!

And glad your son is well now. It's so scary when they get sick. Guess your body needs to process all that's happened to go back to a peaceful night's sleep. But chamomile tea won't hurt... Have you tried florals? They work like a charm for me.

I'm doing ok, thank you. It's been rainy and cool here, so I'm still waiting on the iced tea...

I hatched some crosses under my BO all this week. This is a weird clutch. I saw my friend collect the freshly laid eggs, I set the eggs all at the same day under my hen and here I am seeing a new chick every day since Tuesday. Just weird.

I do the same, walk through the living room expecting to see him sleeping there or step out the front door to find his son instead of him. =(
Not here!!! I'm done with puppies for at least a little while. We've done puppies in the house; that's not happening again!!! I'll do them when we have a way to do them elsewhere!!!
Thanks.
Yeah.
Yay Chaos!!!

BTW, was that all meant to rhyme?

Yeah, it is.
Guess so. I'll have to see about other florals (besides chamomile). I might talk to a friend of mine and ask her about lavender for my pillow or something. IDK.

Glad you're doing ok. Yeah, I just started on sun tea a couple of weeks ago and I'm in the Deep South, so I'm ahead of everyone else on the warm weather (except for the Central Floridian(s) ;-)

When I was hatching in the incubator, I read that eggs that are stored for a day will take an hour longer to hatch, two hours for two days, etc.
But you said they were all laid on the same day, huh?
Yup, weird. Hmm

I had a nice cup of hot tea and thought of you all!!!

I had Ceylon. =) DD made it and she put honey and lemon juice in it....

It was so comforting and relaxing.... Ahhhh

Hi TeaChick! I thought this thread was going to die. I'm glad you are "reviving" it
smile.png

I guess next month people are going to start posting again more regularly, as the cold will be approaching, along with the need for a nice, hot cup of tea.

I am going to post my chicks free to a good home again in the classified. I am so hoping someone from BYC offers them a nice home.

I love ceylon tea. Now, I'm having some English Breakfast.

Yeah, I'm sure the thread will pick up with the decrease in temps. =)
What are you offering? Can you either PM me or send/post the link?
It's wonderful! I like English B-fast too. I don't know whether I have EB right now, but I keep at least two black teas, one black decaf, and something herbal (usually camomile, but having the same thing gets boring so that's subject to change unannounced. lol)

So glad someone's paying attention to the thread. We can revive it together.

I have some news, well I imagine we all have a lot of news, huh?
I got some chicks in a couple of weeks ago (17).

(DH even ordered them on his own, without being told/asked!!!)

Lost one to pasty butt right away.

This week, I lost five more.

But it looks like the rest will make it.

AND we're going to order more to replace them....like 25 more (something like that).

I'm already excited and I'm pretty sure DH hasn't even done the order yet. That's not sad, that's just the chicken person thing to do, right?

I think the tread is fine, It's the people that need to be revived from a hard hot summer.
We are all out being busy.

It has been high nineties here in both heat and humidity... and I still need a cup of tea when I get back from the greenhouses.
With in minutes were are drenched in sweat and we drink water all day long, but I need my cup of... what is it? morale? comfort? tea is something more than just hot tea. It refreshes like ice tea does not. Iced tea makes me want to take a nap.

Coffee wakes me up but tea keeps me going.
I get the the' how can you do that?' look from the iced tea drinkers.
