Teeny tiny chick. Is it a runt, a dwarf, or just adorable?

Just wanted to share some more pictures of Chicken Little. He'll be two weeks old on Sunday, still going strong and still smaller than all the others, as well as being less golden colored than all the others, and with a pointier, more hawk like beak. In any case, he's such a sweet heart and getting used to being handled all the time since we can't stop ourselves from picking him up and loving on him!

I sound like an echo of the previous posts, but that IS the most adorable chicky EVER!

Great pics too! Are there any differences in behavior between tiny and the others? Did it take longer for it to figure out the feeder/waterer? Did it get picked on more? Just curious. What a sweet darling"!

Alright first of all your name, picture, and signature are PERFECT! Lol, I love it!
He/she eats and drinks well and found it all as quickly as the others, so no noticeable difference there. Could be coincidence but everytime I go out to my garage where they are brooding, Chicken Little is in the food dish. Every single time. So perhaps he's more hungry than the others, but that's the only thing I see different. No getting picked on, he was actually kind of a bully the first few days surprisingly but they've all settled down now.

I'm a big BNL fan lol

Hahaha - that's too cute! It's always the shrimpy guy that ends up being a scrappy little piggy!

Most adorable lil thing ever!! Can't wait to see what he turns out like!! Great photo documentation, btw!!

Now I must ask...what in the world is "shrink-wrapped"? I am new to "world o' chickens"....

Shrink wrapped is a term us incubator-a-holics use. Its when the inner membrane shrinks down over the chicks, wrapping them up and making it difficult or impossible for them to hatch.

OP- Chicken Little looks great, and still as cute as can be :love
