Tell me about your rooster ?

I got several in the straight run I got I think five out of the ten that I have . They are fighting a lot . There about 5 or 6 weeks old So what do you think. How do you chose a good rooster

no idea . but mu pullets are all fighting too and they are almost 6 weeks i think my issue is a space issue . they are going NUTZ . as for yours idk sorry

I just put them in the coop a little over a week . There space tripled in size but may be they just need more space . Thanks for your respon ce

What research I've done has yielded around 20-24 weeks for maturity.

I don't know anything about maturity age, but you are not going to want to keep all those roosters. They will fight and be really, really hard on the hens. If you do want a rooster in your flock, one is enough for the size you have.

I've got 6-8 roos in a flock of 30 birds (2 we're still hung-jury on being male or female). We're keeping one of each breed for breeding purposes (4) and the rest, unfortunately, will be dinner this fall/winter. :/

how do you know that they are all roosters mwdudley??
