Tell me something GOOD that happened to you today.

today, i got my house most of the way clean and played with my sweet new little baby..and even had a chance to weed part of my garden.

Today was awesome. I slept all night last night, not waking up once. I usually wake up three or four times a night. When I got home from work I found out fuzzy butts under my broody hen and my broody turkey hen.

The kids are gone, we got paid today so I paid some overdue bills and the animals are all healthy. Don't ask for more from me today.

i had a beautiful mini filly born this morning and a pinto filly to boot!

I'm leaving my job this week for a better opportunity and it;s closer to home. I'm a nurse and there is one doctor at the hospital that is very dignified and never and I mean never gives out compliments. Today he told me "You I will truely miss, you are one of the best nurses I worked with over the last 30 years and you will excell in whatever you decide to do" He made me cry and you know it;s nice that my work is noticed.

I have discovered that I have a little friend amoung my chicken flock. The other day this silkie came and slept in the grass next to me while I sat in the sun. I noticed today that it follows me wherever I go in the yard. So I reached down and it hopped onto my hand and let me lift it up, like a pirate chicken. It stayed there a long time while I walked around. It's so friendly and cute!

Also, I finally "got" some of the math I have been struggling to understand.

I got a nice long kiss from my hubby today rather than our usual " I am so exhausted I want to die but I am going to work anyway " kiss. I thought that was pretty dang good.

All my chickens are alive, after a very stressful evening being chased aggressively by a big dog! I'm so relieved.
