Tell me something GOOD that happened to you today.

Don't tell me... Evan?

Child has zero tact. but he's also taken on the bulk of the housework, since I can't walk.

Cute....

My son finished taking his finals and moved home for the summer. He is 19 and I know he will not be coming home for too much longer so I am happy and thankful he is with me for a few months.

And that my friend, is a GOOD thing!!! That he took on the housework I mean, not that you cant walk.

He's stepped up, i feel awful that I need my kid to help push my wheelchair around, but he never complains.

Kids and I accomplished their school work with minimal nagging.
Made double batch of chili for hubby to eat on all week. It's his favorite and he'd eat it everyday if I let him!!
Enjoyed dinner of homemade sloppy joes and homefries, yum!

Best of all......hubby and I got my tractor fixed.....I can mow tomorrow!!!!

I just finished washing every single dirty dish in the house!!! yeah!!!!!!!!!

This means tomorrow morning I get to wake up to a clean kitchen!!!!

I have tons of positive signs that my first ever batch of incubated eggs are doing very well!
All of my children were very cooperative since this previous weekend each child had one on one time with either me (dd), my husband (5 y/o) or the grand parents (9 y/o). Everyone is getting along beautifully today.

I found a FABULOUS wooden screen door for our chicken coop (that we're building from scratch) from our local Habitat For Humanity ReHome store . . . it's wonderful, it already has some screen netting stuff on it (we're going to put the hardware cloth on the outside, over the screen), it's built *just* like the coop plans, except now *we* don't have to build one --

-- , it's ready for the outdoors, it's got pretty little extra touches on it, and its color is even a reasonable approximation of the stain we've been using!

And get this . . . it was still in its original packaging. And do you know how much they charged me for it? TEN DOLLARS. That was it. Granted, we're going to have to chop off about 8" in the middle, 'cause it's about that much too high, but still, what a steal!

Oh, and I also found a wonderful high-end vinyl remmnant for the coop floor that is 6'x5' in lovely neutral colors (shades of tan, occasionally deepening to cherry or lightening to grey), also at the HfH ReHome store . . . for $12. We need a 6'x3' piece of vinyl, so this works out perfectly.

I love a good bargain.

Also, the dog's poop firmed up today and she got her appetite back (you dog owners out there can relate, I'm sure!), I got a new cell phone without any hassle whatsoever (always a plus!) and my spaghetti sauce for dinner turned out very nice.

And, we have radish sprouts! A lot of radish sprouts . . . LOL!

Work went well, and I got a full workout at the gym today (40 minutes on the treadmill, 20 minutes strength training and ball work).

Lots of good stuff going on around here.
