Tell me something GOOD that happened to you today.

Got our first egg from our production reds at 4 1/2 months! It wasn't much bigger than the pigeon eggs lol

I graduated from college today with a Master's in Counseling Psychology! I defended my thesis and got the highest pass that a student can receive! I am so happy! It has been a long hard road and I made it!

Congratulations!

I came down off the hill to deliver 6 (hopefully) fertile eggs to a couple with a broody banty hen sitting on an infertile egg. Standard rate for my "who knows what kind of chicken will come out of these" eggs is the same as for eating eggs. I had to go down to Sacramento anyway.... we met at Bradshaw Feed (where they got my number) and chatted awhile. Of course I told them to join BYC....

Anyway, they gave me a $10 bill and refused change. They thought I was so nice to be concerned about their little broody hen and come all the way out of the Foothills to bring them fertile eggs - especially when the eggs I gathered for them were bantam eggs of different colors, not just any fresh eggs.

Sure made me feel good for something which was just what I would have done anyway because it fit nicely into my schedule.
