Sorry for your loss ... learning can be such a painful experience. But your entire flock will be better, for what your bird has taught. And, by sharing your knowledge? The flocks of others will, as well. And, hopefully, you can find comfort in knowing that you might spare others from feeling as you do now.
 
Sorry to hear you lost him. I had the same thing happen last spring, lost a 3 year old barred rock hen, my favorite of course. Seems like it always is. It was coccidiosis, I just didn't see the signs and realize what I was dealing with until it was to late.

You are wise to treat the rest with Corid. I now keep it on hand.
 
Other than providing the following table for all to consider, I will defer to casportpony on this subject (far more experienced than I am with the administration of medications to poultry/fowl ~'-)
