Too many roosters may result in the over mating of your hens. Hens can loose feathers on their backs and the roosters claws can cause gashes in their skin. Since the hens are kind of thin skinned this can be a problem.
I personally love roosters. I believe they are Glorious and Beautiful. A rooster likes a group of about 10 hens. Currently l have 3 roosters and no hens but I have some coming in the mail.
If you want to keep them for breeding you can try building separate pens so you can control whom is breeding with whom. You may need to put chicken saddles on the pullets to protect their hides and feathers.
I have only had one mean nasty rooster. He was good with the flock so I tolerated him until he was taken out by a hawk.
The rest of my roosters were very sweet. They got along but even they had a pecking order. My girls were being subjected to multiple breeding and I know first hand the damage of which I spoke.
Roosters are really good for protecting the hens.
