I'm weird... It's not social anxiety (I'm almost always the life of the party) but anxiety over not being able to control a situation. For instance, I'm NEVER late and it drives me nuts when someone is late. I get so anxious watching the minutes go by. I also get anxious in huge crowds, but I'm not claustaphobic.

Very cool. I was in Alaska in 1998 and got to meet Mary Shields, who I believe was the first woman to run the Iditarod. One of the woman who worked with her was a neighbor of our friends. We were up there for their wedding.
My fiance and I uprooted from all our family in PA last year and moved 600 miles away to live in snowy Maine. We have each other and our animals including two dogs which made the 15 hour trip with us in one car and 4 cats that traveled in the other car in a large dog kennel. I, Heather have a horrible irrational fear of things like the Muppets, Mascots, etc also of bears. My fiance has his commercial pilots license, he thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail. We met almost 5 years ago on the internet. We grew up 300 miles away from each other but his father and my mother(whom we did not live with) lived about a mile apart. My fiance is 6 years older then me but he looks younger then me, he is also slightly shorter then me. I am a registered Nurse. I also have some social anxieties around big crowds. We would choose a calm evening at home over a night out anyday. All our inside pets have a title, first, middle and last name. Ex: Sir Mookie Samual Johansen is our cat Mookie.(all have different last names, none of which are our last name). Growing up my father had a pet quail we hatched from an egg who sat on his shoulder, drank beer, nuzzled up in his beard and attacked your feet, only if they were bare, socked feet were ok. I have 5 tattoos.
