Tell your 'what the heck was that thing?' scary story

This might not scare you, but it is 100% TRUE!!!!


We were watching a movie one night, and we were just having a great time. The window is right next to our T.V, and there are three of them in a row. On this particular night, the curtians happened to be open. We were just watching the movie, and then something caught our eye. What creeps me out, is that we all saw this thing at the same time, with no communication to look.
We looked over and saw this strange, red, quarter sized glowing.... thing! It flaoted down from the sky, but it ame straight down, so I don't think it was something that blew into our yard from the neighbor's house. We all jumped up and ran outside to see what it was, but by the time we got there, it was gone.
I don't thing it came from a fire. It was a warm summer night and none of our neighbors ever have fires. Also, it was too big to be an ember, and it came straight down from the sky, so I don't think it blew in.
I still din't know what it was, but it sure scared me!!

First, let me clarify that I am not "defending" their story, you just got me thinking. I know that large carnivores often prefer to eat the organs, since there are more nutrients there. If it had hands... well, people gut animals, right?

My own nerdiness is starting to freak me out.

I the animals might not have been whole either, half eaten already.
I'm still not completely buying it though. Maybe something similar did happen but she got a bit carried away with the story.

It does seem rather far-fetched. My philosophy with mysterious physical creatures (Bigfoot, Nessie, etc.) is "Give me photographic evidence that ISN'T fuzzy." With "spirit" encounters, my standards are a bit more relaxed. As for aliens, yeah. That demands clear video. Ever noticed how "UFO" footage is almost ALWAYS grainy and/or black and white?

And as a sister to a photographer and graphic desingner I can tell you just how easy it is to put those images together. It takes about half an hour and ends up looking very real.

What difference does it make? Maybe it's a creature that just likes to eat/drink blood? Obviously, dead animals would not have much blood in them.

I don't care if it is a 'story' or something that truly happened to this person, it's still interesting and a good read

Well I'll add my stories lol And before you think I'm crazy let me say I'm women of science in that I always want to figure things out. I want to know what it is, how it works. But somethings you can't prove just can't be dismissed.

I struggled with nightmares for a long time. Even as a baby my parents have told me I had night terrors. That's when the person is terrified, eyes wide open, moving but not getting any outside stimuli. So you can be holding them, talking to them, and they won't see you, feel you, or hear you. I have memories as early as two years old of my dreams. The one thing they always had was that there was some carnivorous, black, creature with fangs and glowing red eyes. This things was always there always trying to kill me but more then kill me, this thing wanted to KILL me, it hated me and wanted to kill my soul. I am a firm believer that it was a demon. My parents just believed it was bad dreams, we didn't watch scary movies, and though Christians I don't think they really think about demons and such. I can tell you that I have became real believer in God with an understanding far beyond my years at 12 yrs with no outside "help" or influence. And I kicked that demons ass right about then. I literally turned around and fought it in my dream. Since then it's power to haunt my dreams was broken but it still plagued me. Until six months ago when I drew it. Somehow that broke it's hold. I knew it because there was a certain terror, true awful terror, that went along with it. I even recently realized that many of my "waking" nightmares, being awake but seeing things like ghosts, ghouls, and especially black wolves with glowing eyes and somehow no form circling my bed MIGHT have been real and not the over active imagination I was forced to believe it was.

Beyond my basic terror dreams lol

1. I see/feel "ghosts" sometimes. At least I call them ghosts because they are not scary BTW if it's scary it IS demonic and not human. And they have the same feel as humans, I'm semi telepathic, when I am in a crowded place it feels like everyone's emotions are thrown at me and it's very over whelming. I don't practice it but too many things have happened were I get images, but mostly emotions from people.

I was the passenger in a car and I was sitting in the car at a gas station as the driver was gassing up. I was staring off into space towards the building and a man walked in front of the store, my eyes absently followed him until I realized he was semi see through. When I focused he was gone. He was wearing leather buckle shoes, tall socks, those pants that end at the need and are kind of poofy, a vest, a collared shirt, and a cap. Made me think golfer but not not modern.

2. I love walking in moonlight during the summer. A few years ago I was on one such walk outside my house when I noticed some lights. Now the air force base is 20 miles away so it was nothing uncommon but because there was nothing more interesting I watched it. It was four yellow lights in a diamond shape. I thought to myself that either it was HUGE and far away or it was moving way to slow to be close. Then it stopped moving all together. I was still not suspicious though, just curious. Then smaller lights, more orange in color, appear to move out from the original four. At first I think flares. But when they started making right angles and moving in ways a rocket propelled thing never would and I got excited. There were probably 15-20 of these things zipping all over the sky but mostly towards the base. Then all of a sudden they all went back the "mother ship" disappeared and that diamond of lights moved out of sight faster then I have ever seen any air craft go. And though I'm no expert with the base here I've seen a lot, from non manned special ops, to jets, to stealth, to carriers, to helicopters. And this was nothing I can explain.
