Telling the sex

i have americauna and Rhode Island reds how can I tell of both types which one is cockerel and which ones are hens thanks in advance

by the date the lady who hatched them said they will be 10 weeks old this week

It's hard to see them all but from the looks of it, I would wait another week or two, they look five/six week old. I would also move them to a bigger brooder with substrate and the water dish suspended or off the ground in some way to stop poop getting in it.
 
No where near 10 weeks of age, I'd say 4-5 weeks at the most. Some still have some chick fluff.

Also look very crowded and cold. Is this their brooder? What are you using for a heat source? I see some grain in the cage, is this what your feeding? They need to be on chick feed still and full feed. Their to young for grains yet really.
