I've been gone most of the day taking care of a puking grandbaby. I can see it's the same old, same old here.

If you go thru your plan of that many chickens when you have never had chickens before, you are about to find out how much work they can be.

Where are you planning on putting the chicks that you hatch? That many chicks will take a good sized coop and run of their own. And depending on how spaced out your hatches end up being you'll be needing more than one grow out pen.
