Tennessee

It's actually called Foothills Co-op and it's right up 411 Highway just after you pass the Foothills Mall Drive. Just keep going straight and don't take the left to Alcoa Highway. It's on your right after you pass Food City and some bank (Isn't it funny how you can drive past things for years and not remember the name?)

Do you think it would be ok to cook a hen that has bumblefoot? I don't want to try to operate on her and she hasn't layed in a year. Don't want to just bury her if we can process her. I need to cull some of my older birds and looks like she's first on the list (if I can make myself do it.)

Ok I am jealous. I can not get 20% layer at our co-op here in Greeneville. I called them last year and all they have is the 16%. Is this what they make or is it Purina? I would love to find some 20% layer closer than where we are buying now.

Everyone ready for snow????

sooooooo, it's raining buckets and the little roos look like drowned rats... i'm going to post some more pics from a few months ago and a pic of another roo i had that looks very similar to the black and white one i have to sell.

the two roos at 3 months: you can see that they both have muffs and dark legs

this is the black and white roo i had previously. the little roo i'm selling now looks VERY similar to this one, except his head is more white and his legs are a bit darker. but he's got that same beautiful, bottle black tail.

and, again, here's Percy, the father of the two for sale. the white roo i'm selling looks IDENTICAL to Percy. the only way i can tell them apart is that Percy is heavier bodied (being 8 months older) and has longer spurs.

just let me know if you think you are interested. you are welcome to come see them in person if you'd like, whenever it stops raining.

don't have an answer about the bumblefoot but i'd be happy to come over and lend some moral support if you decide to do the deed.

Thanks but I think I can do it. I used to help when I was younger. I guess I should post the question on the main forum - just don't want to get screamed at.

Your Percy is a beauty - or maybe I should say very handsome.
