This is a new version of the Lost Dogs sign that reflects the reward offered. I want it shared with a description of what happened, so I am reposting it with the story. If you have them or have seen them or know someone who has them or has seen them, we've been trying for weeks to find out dogs and bring them home. They are lost. They were not dumped. They are well cared for indoor pets who are badly missed.

I live in Rockwood, TN. On December 21st at 9 am we left for Georgia, planning to adopt a companion Min Pin puppy for our dog Loki, since our Great Pyrenees Kyra, is getting out of her puppy stage and doesn't normally play with Loki as much as he would like. I opted to leave the dogs at home because I thought they would be safer than if we brought them on an enormous car trip.

We got back at midnight after visiting some friends along the way in North Carolina to find that our front bedroom window was broken open and our dogs were missing. I called the police immediately, but the next day, I spoke to the neighbors. Apparently the dogs broke through the window at about 9 am when we left.

They got out of the yard once and the neighbors put them back, but they stayed around until about 1:30. When it got dark, the neighbors noticed they were gone, but had hoped they went back into the window.

I've called shelters, been to shelters, posted, ads, posted signs, read several Craigslists daily in several sections looking to see if someone has them for sale, walked the neighborhood and followed up on the one lead we've gotten, which was that they were seen near the edge of town on the mountain, Black Hollow Road, but they had been seen two days before we were called and they were no longer there.

We miss them terribly and want them back home.

In Unicoi with 6 hens, 3 Bard Rocks and 3 Americaunas, and looks like we'll be moving and need to find them a new home. Three year olds, all lay very well. All love to free range. If you know of a home where they'll fit in, let me know.

Anyone in the Nashville/Clarksville/ Hopkinsville/ Dickson area who has Ameruacanas or Cream Legbars?

DMRippy has the cream leg bars and lives in Ashland city she will probably chime in soon or you can catch her on the middle Tn thread not sure about the Ams though but she may know someone there is citygirl on the middle tn thread that has black Ams hope that helps :)

I am real close to you. We are hatching already and I have some laying hens and rooster for sale. I also have chicks on the ground now too. I raise Partridge Rocks. Been breeding them for a few years now. You can PM me here if interested.

Thanks Connie!  I have 4 CCL pullets that should start laying anytime. I have Wheaten/Blue Wheatens Ams that are laying now and Black and Lavs but they might be late spring or Summer before they start to lay.

How did I miss this thread????

Good! I don't need eggs right this minute but late spring (like May) I will need some eggs but I haven't quite decide which of the two breeds to go with... :/
