We started the Middle TN thread because this one was pretty heavy for east TN. Then the middle TNers got chatty. Now we are all chatting everywhere. Sigh.

Hi all, I am sure everyone is loving this weather. I heard from hubby that there is snow in Mountains out West. Alot like over 5 feet came in yesterday. They are not allowed thru the pass there. I hope that does not come our way we do not need any more snow. Now with these temps it would be rain and that is good. We have a burn ban here do to dry ground.

I sure am loving this weather. I am so ready for Spring. My first broody will hatch out in a little over a week and I have eggs in a friends incubater. Life is good!

Monroe County here, which is in East Tn just outside Blount County, and we are 30mins from Farragut/Turkey Creek area.


Anyone know anybody local selling chick hens?

LC feeds in Loudon county is getting sexed chicks of different breeds in March 7th. Too bad this thread is being becoming obsolete.

Thank you so much, I keep meaning to stop in there but haven't. I get my dog feed at the feed store in Alcoa, and my chicken feed at the Co-op but I will stop by after that date and check them out!!
