Terrorized by roosters! HELP!

Oh boy! I'm new at this (one month) and all the chicks I got at first were pullets. Then I went to a farm and said "ah cute little Milles!" Oh I'll take my chances on straight run. ..
ROO!

My husband said - "aw but he's so cute" - yeah well he is a sweetie. But I'm beginning to think I'm being fooled and I'll have Roo Monster on my hands in no time at all. I am however NOT very confident

with big male birds. So HMMM not sure how this is gonna go. Honestly I think he is gonna go unless he is a sweet gem.

I'd suggest you be up front about it. If I were to tell my husband that I couldn't control a roo anymore because of the attacks, he'd be plenty ticked off and saying okay, what do you want me to do. I'd say well, I'll try giving him away with full disclosure. He'd say he wanted to let it out to fend on it's own. We'd compromise, somehow. But no way he'd act like it was my fault the roo wasn't being nice.

If you can muster the courage, you need to establish dominance over these two tyrants. Walk right up to the roo and quickly push him to the ground, first pinching the back of his neck with one hand while pushing down on his rump with the other hand. Hold him there with his beak in the dirt while you tell him you're boss, not him. Then go do it with the other roo. This is what a dominant rooster does to keep the rest of the roosters in the flock in line.

Do this every time you see them for the next few days. I would bet you will stop being bullied by these two in short order.

Because I like to give everyone a chance

, what I would recommend is to give both those roosters a BATH! Use deep buckets, like muck buckets where you can submerge their whole body (not head) in nice warm water. Give them a bath (make'em pretty), swaddle them in a towel and by the end of the whole ordeal see if they don't treat you with respect.

We've found nothing tames a chicken (even feral chickens) like giving them a bath, swaddling them and making them spend the night in a warm bathroom.

A little lesson in humility, eh?

I'd never thought of that--if I get a mean rooster again that might be fun to try. Paint his toenails funny colors, too!

Get rid of them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tell your husband you have had it with the scars and cuts and the birds WILL go, with or without his blessing.
...and what kind of man allows this to happen to his wife???????????
He obviously does not care about your security and safety, so why should you care about hurting his feelings getting rid of pets he plays with only on occassion?
...maybe get rid of him too?
