Texas A&M quail

If we assumed a dove breast was the darkest meat and a store bought chicken breast was the lightest. A wild or flight conditioned Bob White is somewhere in between.

How does the meat color of Coturnix compare to a standard Bob White that was pen raised and released for hunting?

How tall do they grow?

OK, I'll bite.

How big and at what weight. At 6 weeks, they should be 10-14 Oz. Live Weight, 7.5-10.5 Dressed. Will have to be dressed to see the white meat.
These weights are for the Jumbo Browns that the Texas A&M was further developed from - what I've read anyway.

If its 4-6 even 8 oz you have English Whites. I had 2 of them from my Jumbo Brown's, they had delicious brown meat.

Picture on a digital scale would do wonders.
My jumbo browns put out a white now and then too. Darn recessive gene. The white birds are usually the ones that get picked on. They do taste the same though.
