Hung, what would I do without my brother??? You are so thoughtful! When it comes to food, my mom taught me to always think of my sister first. So here we go!
Plus, working in industrial environment for many years, I learned to think "safety first". So here we go again !
I love it!
Hugs and prayers are coming your way. I am so sorry you are feeling bad. Have you tried taking Sudafed along with the allergy medicine? That sometimes will help me.Quiet day on here today. I've been suffering (and I do mean suffering) with an allergy headache. It's been bad since last night. I had to take a lie down earlier today it got so bad again. What ever blew in with that rain needs to blow away!
I wanted to see how the diamonds I am going to put on my house would look and also check for proper size of said diamonds so I got out some paper (wish I had more of it) and cut out some squares to tape to the house. OH MY!!!! I love this look! I'm going to see if my neighbor will cut some squares for me this weekend so I can get them painted and put on the house. If he routers the edge or cuts them slightly angled I can paint the edge brown and the top will match the door. It was suggested that I use fence post toppers but I have the plywood already so that will be no cost to me. The fence post toppers would run over $50.
The post on the left looks a little funny because I edited out my house numbers.
been super busy today getting Katrina off to college and Karis and Keiki off to Austin where they will meet with my sister, bro in law and nephew. In the morning they will all head out to Branson, mo. So excited for them and jealous! They will be gone 11 days and this will be the longest that I have been away from Keiki in all of her 9 years of life! Thank goodness for facetime! Your house looks just fabulous! Rest girl...there is no rush!Quiet day on here today. I've been suffering (and I do mean suffering) with an allergy headache. It's been bad since last night. Hysterical!!!
And I thought this is the time for your summer vacation. My son who teaches in Houston is enjoying the time off and he flew to South Carolina yesterday to spend 2 weeks with his gf family. I also have a friend in Ho Chi Minh city, who is a part time Math teacher. She claimed she has no income during the summer time ... and not sure how she and her 2 kids can survive. Her kids, a 13 yr girl and a 11yr boy, are the real "karate kids". Last month, the boy won a tournament there and earned a prize of $40. The mom "borrowed" this to pay the rent. I told her that I will send her $100 today to help relieve the summer drought.
Hens, why don't you take the kids home and babysit them right in your house. This way, you can have little John watering the chicken while little Debbie watering the plants. Once they are done with the watering and feeding, you can give them some exotic instant Chinese noodle. Confucius said "let's shoot several birds in one shot".
Ready for a long stretch of hot, dry days.
