Here are a few of my lovely chicks at 2-3 months. These are typical Vietnam GaNoi.

sorry the pix somehow rotated on me
Awww, I think they're kind of cute!

'Lovely' must be in the eye of the beholder. Those are chickens only a mother could love! Will they get more feathers or is that pretty much it for them.

They are growing well. :)

How is Charlie doing? Any closer to knowing when he and your wife will be able to come to the States?

-These chicks will have more feathers when they 6-7 mos. It will be easier to tell Boy from Girl by that time too. I had sold a few as "Unknown" :)

-Charlie turned 5 mo last Fri. Then on Monday he traveled to Saigon for his interview with immigration. In about 30 days, they will send him his US birth cert, his new passport and his SSN. Then on Mon eve, he came up with fever. We are not sure if he has his first teeth or some throat infection. He is on a train going home by now.

As his process is done. I just called INS to request an update on his mom status. Currently her case is on Hold as they asked me to send more proofs ... so let's see what they asking !!!

How frustrating!!

Very cute, but I never see roosts in his coops! lol
I contacted him awhile back, a few times, and I could never get a hold of him :/

@A1momof3
, put some coconut oil on them!
Couldn't hurt.... I put it on one of my Orp's ear lobe when she got a bad peck would and it healed great. If it is fowl pox, I believe it's just one of those things that has to run its course anyway.
The paleness could be the heat

Thanks I'll try that. They seem to be perking up. I gave them all some fresh oregano also and with that and the ACV they seem to be feeling better. But I'll try the oil. He still has the white stuff on his comb.

here's my black silkie roo
Handsome!

Glad Charlie is one step closer!
Sorry he's not feeling well, poor baby :/

Worst case scenario it'll moisturize

It might just be dry skin too.

I found out where my son is living thanks to my neighbor. My neighbor is doing a remodel job near where Nathan is living, so he has seen him a lot over there. I was able to figure it out when my neighbor told me the neighborhood.

Nathan is staying with a friend he went to prom with (wasn't dating - a group went together as friends) and they are just friends. He moved up quite a bit in his living situation. This friend's parents have money and he is now living in a house about 3x's the size of mine. He drops by every now and then and is managing to fill up the garage so I can't park my car in there. :/ That will need to change really fast when the weather starts to get bad (and as soon as I get a garage door opener).
