My sunflowers. :) I also have giant sunflowers that are around 7 feet tall right now, but aren't blooming yet. I had planted some red sunflowers too but they don't appear to have sprouted. Maybe they aren't blooming yet. I should just through more seeds out there again and see if I can get some. :)

Meyer has a minimum order of 3 as well, which is where I ordered my current girls from, but they don't have Faverolles :/
A lot of places are shipping eggs, but having an incubator would get me into so much trouble lol
I'd rather use a broody.

Our last one had to stop because she's 6 months pregnant, has to start watching her stepsons, didn't have room in the car, etc.

For the kiddos? What happened to the daycare? I know people with teenage daughters... I can see if anyone is interested. Let me know if I should ask and when you need someone (or is it just whenever?).

It's a long term M-F, 7:30-5:30 type deal.
Our babysitter was just an individual but is unable to watch them anymore.
She's starting to struggle with keeping up with them and her own son (she's 6 mo pregnant) and now has to add her 2 stepsons to the mix.
Throw in the fact that she drives a two-door Saturn and she just can't accommodate them anymore.
It was on good terms, just a little sudden. Now we're struggling. Lol.
My Sister in law is watching them today and Thursday, Josh can watch them Tomorrow and Wed, and I'm off Friday.
But next week she'll be out of town, so I'll need someone by Monday.

Not sure I can help with that. I'll see what I can do to help for the short term. Do you care how old they are?

Have you looked between here and there? You could get them on your way back from a trip to the woodlands
 
Ah Laurie im sorry. I completely missed those beautiful sunflowers! Great job!!

Theres a lady in Conroe that breeds them. She wasn't very responsive after I told her where I was...lol
i may just call her up when I know when im going to be down and pick some up then. Then it a just a 4 1/2 hour drive home...lol.
but I could get aome heat packs and gro gel and they'd probably do fine..

My granddaughter and I watched it last weekend. Just love that movie. I need to find out what the other fish are named in that movie.... the ones in the school. LOL

Your flowers are beautiful. I love sunflowers!! Are they are to grow?

Cleaned the barn out today and organized all the tools. It was so hot and for the first time since we lived here we saw a copper head. It slithered up right under our uncles foot. My hubby nearly ran me over to get out of the way.... every man, women and child for him self. My son and I were the only ones with out shoes on and we went for the hoe I had the shovel and we killed it. LOL Hadn't seen my hubby move like that in years! LOL
