Ms. Jellybean, what are the rules for buying an animal at Petsmart? I would love to adopt an animal from the pound, but they have all of these stupid rules. I refuse to get one from there.

Lisa :)

I googled this nit sure how correct it is....
Egg sizes Average weight

Jumbo 2 1/2 oz (71g)
Extra-large 2 1/4 oz (64g)
Large 2 oz (57g)
Medium 1 3/4 oz (50g)
Small 1 1/2 oz (43g)
Peewee 1 1/4 oz (35g)

So about 4 large eggs.

I don't pay attention to the rules. They do change with whatever group is adopting them out. I figure once the kitty is mine the rules don't apply. I'm feeding and caring for it and I can choose to do what to do or not do. I won't abuse it and that is all that matters to me.

Busy, busy morning. Made a run to Lowes at 6am to pick up the rest of my cinder blocks and see what plants they have. I got one more heirloom tomato, picked up some strawberries, herbs, mint, marigolds and bee balm to plant. I was wanting to pick up a couple citronella geranium, but they didn't have any. Stopped at 2 Walmarts on my way home, neither of them had it either. I planted some last year and they really help with the mosquitos.

Got the blocks up, filled them up with dirt and most of the plants planted before picking up my granddaughter from pre-k. After lunch, we finished planting and watering everything. It looks pretty good. Just hope it grows!

Think I overdid it a bit this morning. Going to take it easy the rest of the day.

@Kim ~ Hope the Dr. visit goes well. I really, really hope it's not RD. Prayers for you.

@JB ~ Love the jewelry!! I love sterling. I like it much better than yellow gold. Sometimes gold just doesn't look good, but then that's just me. :)

@Lisa ~ I think it depends on what group is hosting the adoption. TSC also has adoptions. I think all of them have "rules". Most require you to spay or neuter. I haven't adopted in a long time. We live out in the country, and people are always dropping pets off to "be free". Little do they know how cruel that is.

@David ~ I flipped my tubs over and put up boards across the front of my nests. One of my EE's had gotten in there a couple times, so it's all boarded until they get into the "swing" of things! Silly girls!

It had clouded over and looked like it was going to come a rain a little while ago. Now the suns out and wind is gusting pretty good.

I hit some heavy rain from Trinity until I got to the other side of Crockett and did not get enough to wet the ground at the place. As I like to put it; Not enough to say Grace over!!

Wow you were busy. I have to go back in the morning and they will draw my blood and are going to run the test for RA and something else. He is also going to do the regular yearly blood work. He gave me Mobic, low does to see if it helps any while we are waiting on the tx results. I have so much I need to get done but I'm just not in the mood right now and My arms and all attached to them wont stop hurting right now. they said the test results should be back Monday if I get there first thing in the morning for the blood draw. So early it is.

I was trying to do some landscaping around my pen but I think I am ready to just give it a rest for a while.

Lisa have you tried CAPS on I 10? You'd exit barker cypress. It's a wonderful facility and if the animal you want is not fixed, they do it. But it's included in the cost. The rules these places have are supposed to help protect the animal! But most of the time it's a pain and doesn't really protect from someone who has not got the interest of the animal in mind.

I just started Mobic (meloxicam) this past Monday. It has really helped! I take mine at night since I have a lot of pain and it messes with my sleep. Also, in case I have any problems with it, nausea etc, it will happen while I'm asleep and not bother me as much. I take it with my supper.

That's what I'm going to do too. I know it can be hard on the stomach so you are night taking it at night will be better.

I did my morning bible study and God had to get me straighten out. So I'm just praying for answers from theses tests. If it is RA fine then let's get the treatment going and move past this. He took on the cross surely I can deal with this as long as I keep my focus on him!
