Texas Chickenstock 2008 - update 1st page

I live out in West Texas, but I would definately try to come.

Hi Carla,

I'm going to check with Charles and see if we can come back this year. We had a great time last year, John especially. I haven't kept up too much with Backyardchickens, we've just been pretty busy. As you know, the eggs that we got from you didn't make it because of the torrential rains and high humidity on hatching day, but here's a photo of the rooster that did hatch. This photo doesn't do him justice. His mother is an Ameracauna, father either a Partridge Rock, Gold Laced Wyandotte or Black Australorp. He's pretty flighty, has landed on our shoulders and heads many times, but I think he's beautiful.

Stacey, yes it is May 24.

Hope you can make it.

With as many new members that we have, it should be a big crowd this year. I hope so !!
