Hey y'all! Brand new chicken lady here! I am in Weatherford Tx, west of Fort Worth. I have no clue what kind of chickens I have cause they were free from my daughters class but I have 8 of them! I guess time will tell! I also ordered 11 chicks from mypetchicken, they should be here in a few hours! So 19 chicks, 1 catahoula leopard dog, 1 mix breed we have no clue what she is, 4 kids and 1 supportive hubby! I am so glad I found this site! So much advice and friendly folks! I hope to get to know y'all better!

welcome aboard! post some pics of your chickens and we will see what we can guess as far as breeds! and what kind did you order! this is always the fun part, meeting new people and their chickens.
 
If you are on the computer, not your phone, the icon for posting photos is at the top of the text boxy you are typing in...two to the right of the back arrow - right next to the film strip.

are you on a phone or a PC? If you are on a computer there is a little button 8th from the right side that allows you to post from your computer. IF your on a phone, in that same vacinity there is a button that allows you to upload from your phone, or whateer mobile device your using. Alot less complicated than some sites ive seen, BYC is very user friendly once you get the hang of it!
