Still having fertility problems. This last hatch I had 4 of 20 fertile and only one hatched alive. Two others pipped and that was it for them. The last one did nothing. I have two that are broody and sitting on a few eggs. I'm saving every egg and setting every 10th day. Guess I'm going to do this all summer if my fertility doesn't climb.

We eat rabbit, (in response to some post back) and show them. It does taste like chicken, dark meat, not a very distinct flavor. It is about 50% of our meat consumption lol.

Yeah i actually think i do want him. In putting up a seperate pen this week to seperate my yokies out and will be short a roo! Have a red polish cockeral in there as well but im not expecting a whole lot from him. Kinda want to make a polish pen as well...man im adding to my to do list!

What do you cross with Polish and what would you get... visualizing fluffy hats on different breeds and it just isnt working for me...

Do you know what the project is? I am sending 18 eggs to a lady in KY Tuesday morning. It may be the same person.

It was the same person. We read her story and felt compelled to write her. We are sending 18 eggs free of charge. She has an autistic child that really wants some Lavs. and she is a super lady for fighting the fight.
