Texas

Hey Y'all,
I'm here in Denton Texas. Anyone else around this area? I know, I know I could read through the 1315 pages and figure it out. I'll admit it, I'm being lazy.

Ok everyone.... I need advice and QUICK! Here is the deal. I had some eggs under a broody... She was killed. They were out for a while.. I put them under another broody. Then she was killed. Chickenbelle told me of a few things I could do. I ended up putting them in shoe box with a towel in it and putting a heat lamp on them. Well today is hatch day. I figured they died and didn't expect anything to happen.. Well, one has externally piped. I har no idea what to do. What position the egg should be in.. Should I be misting it??

The egg is laying on its side in the box. Pip is on the side of the egg. Tried to upload a pic but it won't

I'd be most concerned about shrink wrapping. So, I'd move the set up to the bathroom and run a hot shower a while. Might also candle them so you have a better idea of whats going on. Good luck.
