Well that might be too much humidity. I'd either steam up the place like you're doing or mist them with a misting sprayer a couple times a day. You gotta watch it once they pip like that, they can still drown if you give them too much.

Your coup will really depend on your location and what you are keeping out. I use an 8x8 shed as my coup and that is attached to a concrete bottomed 20x20 run enclosed with chainlink and have netting over top, but we see coyotes regularly, not to mention the coons, possums, and hawks.

But if you are in a more "civilized" area a simple (big) dog house and some fencing may get you by. And then u gotta take into account the number of chickens you want to keep, i have mine set up for 20-25 chickens, and im at 21 now...lookin to expand soon!

I hear ya there! I still use an iphone 3GS! Poor thing is so obsolete but i keep spending my new phone fund on chickens and chicken accessories! Lol
