Pretty birds Gallo ...

Wow Gallo, those birds are spectacular. I bet it is amazing to look out the window and see them in your yard!
Do they fly over your fence?

I never knew there was such variety in chickens. I love seeing so many pretty creatures!

I May I got 8 little one day old silkies from a lady that has a bunch of Silkie chickens running around her yard in Floresville. I just thought they were the cutest things I had ever seen. Out of the 8 only one was a hen. So, I got two more babies but I think 1 is a little Roo. I told my husband I am not sending anymore chickens away and I am keeping him. When I had all the Roos crowing, my immediate neighbors all seemed really OK with it... we'll see how they do when daylight savings time changes next month...lol

no my yokos dont fly over my fence I have them in the coop all the time well I let them out sometimes, I don't have any complaint from my neighbors the yokos are not loud and noisy

this a picture of a black sumatra bantam I purchased some eggs from a girl who has this per of black sumatras.
I purchased 7 eggs and only 5 hacthed, two died today cos this rain they are in the coop but they like to get too close to the door and they get wet bad

I raise yokohamas, I just add some sumatras to my flock I also have some mutts
