Anyhow I was introducing myself. Lol thank you to whoever sent me this way. I live in Belton. Just north of Austin about an 30-ish minutes.

Welcome from Quitman!!! You will love it here.

Hello from Pflugerville

Hey a girl I went to schol with years ago lives in Pflugerville. She and her kids are big in the swim team there. She had kids way after I did. I had never heard of Pflugerville until I found her of Facebook

My hubby is so awesome!  I've been trying to clean up around our front porch,  Lots of junk finds it's way there.  Tools etc.  I had some packs of flowers I gotten last week and really needed to plant them.  But chicken house also needed attention.  While I was busy planting flowers he cleaned all the nests, the peeper coop, Belle's cage, filled all the feeders and waterers and gathered the eggs!  Think I'll keep him!!!

Awww how sweet! Yes you should keep him around!!

Thank you all for the warm welcomes.

Lovingmyhens- my sister lives in Katy. She loves it down there. We all have really bad allergies but down there she is allergy free.

Looks like we're getting a storm coming in...the clouds are getting dark and wind is kicking up.

Magpie- your DH is a keeper. I'm pretty sure--no, I'm positive my DH wouldn't even dream of touching the chickens.
Welcome!
We just did a playground in Belton not long ago! I think it was a daycare?

More rain! Yay
I haven't been out since I put the girls up, but it was a race, that's for sure! lol.
I won

Got in before the raindrops got me.

We are just south of you in Taylor, what kind of chickens do you have? We just got our first ever flock, six chicks (our legal in town limit) and I already want more, they are 6 weeks old and so much fun!

Haha I was out there feeding when the rain began, I got soaked :(

Man have my ameraucanas changed a lot! There not very friendly but I guess that's my fault. I haven't spent as much time with them as I did with my other chicks.

I kinda did that too, with the Silkies.
So far, My EE's and buff are the friendliest out of everyone.
My EE in my pic will hop into my lap and nuzzle down now, if I sit in their run.

Ok here goes...I apologize in advance if it's too wordy but Ive never actually written the recipe down. Hubby and I use to cook for the bingo hall 5 times a week.. We usually cooked for 80-100 people and I made this so often I just make it from memory so i hope I got close to what i make. If you make it let me know how it turns out.

Chicken spaghetti serves 12-15 people generously

1 large roasting or broiler hen + 2-3 large chicken breasts
you want about 4 lbs of meat when you're done
2 1/2 - 3 lbs thin spaghetti (I prefer to break the spaghetti into shorter pieces, it's much easier to serve)

1 can Rotel
1 Family size can cream of chicken soup
2 cans cheddar or nacho cheese soup
1/3 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup fresh parsley or 1/4 cupped dried
1 lb (1/2 large block) velvetta cheese
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
1 TBSP poultry seasoning
1 tsp Tony Zacheries cajun seasoning
1 cup milk
2-3 chicken boulion cubes

Put the chicken in a large kettle (cut up or whole either way) add tsp salt and water to cover meat. Cook on low boil at least 40 minutes. Check for doneness by separating a leg.
Remove chicken to cool. You need 4-6 cups stock so if you don't have enough add water and boullion to make enough.

For the spaghetti use about half of the stock and water to cook it in. Cook until al dente. It will cook more during baking so don't over cook.

SAUCE
In large kettle cook rotel.onion, parsley and seasoning until onion is done.
Add 2 cups stock
Add soups
Stir together until bubbly (should be consistency of cream soup) if it's too thick add some stock.
Cube the cheese and add to soups. Stir constantly until all the cheese is melted. Adjust consistency it should
still be very creamy.
Stir in the milk
Cut the chicken into cubes. Add to sauce

Put the spaghetti into large roasting size aluminum pan. Pour the sauce over it and mix gently until spaghetti is covered. It should be very creamy if not add milk or stock until it's nice and saucy.
Cover with foil, bake @350 about 40 45 minutes until hot and bubbly on the edges.
Uncover for last 10 minutes
I've served this in a pinch without baking it, but is much better baked.

This recipe is very flexible. I've made it with all velvetta and no cheese soup but was too cheesy. If you're not big on spice cut the pepper and Tony's back some. I've also done it with just breasts and all canned broth not as good but ok.
Hope I didn't leave anything out
We served it with salad and /or green beans
Magpie
