I haven't had to mow my lawn since the geese started free ranging. They keep it pretty short.
Can you bring them here this weekend??? LOL

Amazing how liquid it can be, isn't it? And how they can aim it. This winter I had a problem a few times getting the automatic door to open. It would be frozen shut because one of them would have pooped on the bottom of it and then it froze shut! Once I couldn't get it open at all till later in the day, and hat to let everyone out of the people door.Lol, while a long trip would make them extra hungry, I do NOT want goos poo in my car. Those guys and ducks have a talent for aiming their poo out the crate and all over the car. I can live without a repeat, lol.
Just to confirm, I fed both dogs then let them outside and Tristan, the Golden Retriever, immediately went for a little duck poo for dessert. So, hunger is not the issue here. For some reason, he thinks poo is DELICIOUS!

Just 2 small goslings splattered the back of my car, I don't want to imaging what 6 large goslings can do. I can live without a repeat, lol.

I hear ya, but, at this point, I would be willing to pay for detailing and rental of the birds!! LOL
You could get a couple geese of your own. At 1 week of age mine are out most or all day eating grass. I have 6 that are out from dawn to dusk, and 2 that are out from 12 to 6, because they are so small.
I would, but I cannot watch over them all day, and the hawks would get them. Just my yard is 4 acres. I would have to get quite a few to keep this yard mowed.
