Animal cruelty is a felony in Texas. The I understand about the police, but in spite of them being limited to take action, they need to at least do a report to protect your interest if anything further happens. Maybe you could ask them what your rights are to take action against trespassers who are killing your pets and vandalizing your property if you catch them in the act. Hopefully your questions would provoke them into doing more.

Can you move the babies inside maybe a garage or laundry room until the vandals move on. I sure hope this works out for you. I'm so sorry you are going through this.

The infrared hunting trail cams are a great crime deterrent. My coop and barn are locked as are the outer gates.

if bought in bulk we may be willing to meet depending on location. I have 8 ducklings and 20 eggs in the incubator that should hatch anytime to another week. They are so cheap because they are too far in the gene pool. Turns out momma and daddy of the chocolate babies were further then 2 generations in.. however they are doing remarkably well!!!

Black ducklings are from black pied hens and chocolate dad so arent related at all

Sadly I only have room for two. Otherwise I would have bought in bulk and gotten a basket full of them! =)
