Found these hidden away in in the flower bed. Guess Princess stashed these away this Summer with the other two girl's help. Since there are no white eggs it was probably after I rehome the brown leghorns. I did not bother to test them. They were sorta stinky.
Ew they're probably a little rotten now...at least you found them un-exploded!

I have some cornish bantams..and I've been researching colors, I have two dark, and this one odd colored little boy that I've named corny, because he is not quite red, but not white. Its really weird .Has anyone ever raised show-quality bantams? I was to breed the darks, but am not sure if anyone would want some cornish bantams, as they poop a lot and are odd looking.

Can anyone tell me if this silver and white chicken is a boy? What is telling you that. He doesn't have gold coming in on him or longer tail feathers that i see. Im just trying t make sure before i rehome him.

Could your boy be a white laced red?

*NOT my picture, just googled for an example*

Where are you at? I don't have a need for bantams, but I love the look of the Dark Cornish..I'd probably get one lol
I've heard they are good broodies, mothers, and free range really well.
They are also shown a lot

Yay my chicks came home today!

I have a suspicion that one may be a red sex link instead of black. She's the one all the way to the right.

Here's a close up. Sorry, she moved her head in every picture. Lol

Eh, close, but he's really light. When I get home I will post a pic of him.

Little Corny the rooster, he's a little flighty, but I think handling him makes him a little more used to me. Any idea if that's even a standard color in cornish bantams? He just looks like a splotchy cream color. When he was a chick he was a orange/yellow, so I though he was gonna be white.

Hmm..I'm split 50/50, she looks like she could be a black sex link, but the red in her makes me think red sex link. Usually red sex links are orangey to a rusty red or a chick though, at least that's what mine were as chicks. Do you know the parents?

I got them for show exactly! Lol little mind reader over here! If I can get my darks bred(I think one is a rooster) I'll have to ya in mind, they're very beautiful and chirpy! I'm in comanche county, by the way.

Areolyn, I do not know the parents, unfortunately. She's starting to grow some light brown feathers. At this point she's more of a brownish red. Her sisters are just plain black except for their cream tummies. Hehe, mystery chicken..... hey that's a great name! :)

I know this is not the usual place to ask this but I have seen pics of similar birds. I got Dallas with some laying hens but Idk what breed Dallas is and if she / he is a roo or a pullet.

But Dallas was just a bit aggressive with my daughter. ???
