Yes. I am the little lady. No I did not take any little ones home they're to poisonous at that stage. We killed them and tossed them.

I had TVDLM come out today and bleed birds. He was quick, made my life easy, and let me turn birds out as soon as he bled them. So no one had to be kept locked up long in this heat. It was a pleasant experience and we are officially UTD on everything. I can start selling again. Fwew.

The bob whites and pheasants move out into their temporary flight pen. Its a little bigger than the one they were in, and should hold them a couple more weeks. This will give me time to collect supplies and send my nephews back to Dallas.

I am with you there David, but this guy/girl is not letting up. All I did was mention that I would "get" the snake that killed my reallyrare and expensive bird. Not to mention, my favorite. He/she has not let up about the snakes. If you read my last post, I am willing to listen, as long as he/she opens up his/her mind.

They take a blood sample and test for typhoid/ pollurium(spell check). It is done immediately and doesn't take that long. It is also free from the state, as it is a state funded program.

Listen Guys....I'm a little extreme....I don't pull punches...I speak my mind...I might rub some the wrong way...but it's not out of malicious behavior....just they way I am....I don't hold ill will against anyone....and if the misconception and sad truth about how most people feel towards snakes wasn't so almost universal....and ....illogical to me...I wouldn't be saying anything....

I'm not saying anyone hasn't got the right to believe what they do....do what they do....or sit in judgment over them....just trying to get people to take a hard look at the issue logically.....

Trust me....I was deathly afraid of snakes most of my life....(as a matter of fact....I can still catch a coil of rope out of the corner of my eye.....and almost have a coronary....)

But....knowledge is power....and...really....killing out of ignorance has never been a good thing....

Ignorance by itself is an evil thing.....

Not trying to come off as a know-it-all.....just saying...the average person is VERY ignorant about snakes....yet...very opinionated.....

Gotcha, so now you are legally able to sell? Or it is just one of those things that helps you sell? I just have my backyard flock but when we move I may try breeding some ducks.
