bnjrob - one of the things I even considered was protein level of the feed as being a problem. I don't know since I only have the one with the symptoms. They were receiving about a 22% feed (mixing the chick starter at 20% protein with the game bird starter at 28%). With the other poult that had a known injury we fed straight game bird, and he has healed incredibly well. So this one got switched to the game bird feed to help with healing an injury. Like I said at first he started to do better, now he has taken a downhill turn. Next thought that crossed my mind was that they all had a growth spurt a week ago, so he grew too fast for his legs. So I switched him back to a lower protein level last night, along with putting some B vitamins in the water. No real improvement. Other thought was that it could be histomaniasis (blackhead), however it has been long enough since symptoms showed that if that was the case he should have the sulfur colored poop and his poop is normal. It is just frustrating at this point since I don't know what is wrong and if it is contagious or not. So if you have any other thoughts on the matter please let me know. Yes I can be opinionated, and bull-headed, but this is a matter that I am willing to go against my nature on and do my best to graciously accept other opinions. I am sorry if you thought I was not open to other suggestions, you asked what my plan was and I stated it.

I have to correct one thing that's driving me crazy, but, I have nothing else to say about this conversation.

It's Dumor. Not Dumore.

That's all.

You will have to excuse my spelling. I'm really a pretty good speller, but since I've been taking my chemo, it really puts me in a "brain fog". I do catch a lot of my spelling mistakes, but some do slip by.

Again, sorry to have driven some of you crazy. I will try to watch it closer in the future.

No worries.
