I would also try the taquirios around as well. Also ask if they want fertilized or unfertilized eggs as apparently there is a diffrence culturally that I do not understand. @NickyPick

Fertile eggs might be of more value but I could not tell you.

edited- I made some stupid statements that on further reflection had to go. Basically it related to President Polk and the theft of this land. Enough said. Also it was totally unrelated to chicken keeping and selling eggs.

Hello South Texas from mid state Austin area. Noted several coops on Craigslist and anticipate lots more for sale come spring when real estate booms and families are moving.

Finally found someone wanting free EE cockerels, so replaced the 2 of them with 6 newborn chicks...you do the math! With a total of 14 new ones added to the flock, my huge Christmas gift coop is filling up fast. It turned out not to be so big at all.

East Texas near Livingston. We just finished an add on to our small chicken yard. It went from a 12X12 to a 36 X12. That was my Christmas present! I have 14 hens 10 RSL and 4 White Leghorns. All made it through the cold weather just fine, except they were all getting on each others nerves, hopefully the larger yard will help. I let them fee range under supervision. To many predators in these pineywoods!

:frowHowdy from Rosenberg! Lucky you getting a larger yard for your chickens. Come on back and bring some pictures with you. We kinda like pictures around here. ;)

Does any young / duckling muscovys for sale near Austin TX?

We will drive!

We lost one of our two last week in our small backyard flock. Hoping to grab another female as soon as I can find them. I've tried Callahans THANKS!

Here is a picture I took 2 days ago. We may roof the new addition or just put chicken wire across the top since the smaller area is roofed. Don't need hawks or owls getting to my girls!

Now THAT is nice!!!

A suggestion: Don't use chicken wire across the top. It will rust and can get expensive. I used heavy fishing line for the top of my pen. I have a regular cobweb over my pen.
