Nice quiet day inside baking. Cleaning. Checking on chickens to see if they are floating yet. Listening to podcasts and old music videos. The pitter patter of sky pee on the roof. Ah, yes. We like weather. In small doses.

My dear renter, who I don't think is related to me anymore, refused to mop yesterday because it was going to rain today and MORE mud would be tracked in by the dogs.
Technically, this is not wrong. HOWEVER, I still want the floor cleaned. NOW. Sometimes I think I didn't beat him enough when he was younger.

Never fails! The worst part is I can't bring myself to laugh at them until I know they haven't killed themselves out of stupidity. Flash floods happen but most of these cases are people who don't want to take the time to figure out another way.
