Texas

I do have my coop set up, and I have quite the menagerie of breeds (I like a colorful flock). I'm strictly keeping for eggs and enjoying the birds, not meat production at this time. We have 10 acres and a horse barn that I converted a 10x10 stall into a chicken coop. I wanted lots of ventilation because....well, its hot lol. Thanks for the welcome!

It sounds like I might need to visit and check it out! I love to check out other people's setups. And if course I make biosecurity a priority, no worries! What breeds do you have? I have quite a mixed flock of apx 50 myself, on 5 acres.

Hey y'all!

I'm in Seagraves, TX.:woot A small community in the southern plains. If you know where Lubbock is (Go Red Raiders), we are 60 miles SSW of there. We are located in Gaines County, just 45 minutes from the New Mexico state line. I'm new to BYC and excited to learn new things to make my chickens even happier and more spoiled than they already are. :wee

Have you seen a fake chicken (quail) swimming in an egg before? Welcome!
