Sadly it's unfortunate that most pheasant hens will not set, it has been bred out of them by artificial incubation of their eggs. Occasionally, I have a hen or two that do set but once they hatch, they don't know how to care for them either, or they will set half way through then leave the nest.I saw your pics of numerous pheasant varieties and they are really beautiful. Put a lot of my molting hens to shame. Didn’t know there were so many types and domesticated too. Will they set their own eggs? Also the chicks , I think were pheasant have very similar markings to my EE chicks.
