I tell you my commute from Bville to Harlingen has been heaven these last two weeks. NO traffic. Sad state of affairs but can't beat what it's doing to the commute :)

I have never ever thought traveling up 77 that there was traffic on it. But that's just me I'm a Dallas native. But yeah I can imagine it must be nice hopefully you don't get pulled over by the authorities like I was the other day.

Still it's hard to imagine 77 being emptier than it already was. We are planning a trip up 77 tomorrow to Harlingen to deliver some eggs for some shut-ins that used to be our neighbors.

Also we see on Facebook that they scored some toilet paper.

Sounds like a fair trade to me :) CVS in Harlingen (over by the VA) had it. You could only get one pack and you have to ask at the counter.

Lots of people are looking for eggs...they are almost like gold.

I set my cruise control about 3 over the limit and keep an eye out. Plenty of others flying so they don't need to mess with me.

To be honest I do 10 over on that stretch and never have any issues. But usually you can only get to three over or 10 under due to our locals who are afraid of law enforcement.

Also thanks for the tip I'm going to check CVS tomorrow. I just wish the VA was open so I could claim I was going to the pharmacy in case we get pulled over.
 
So we checked out one of the areas HEBs today. And the one we chose was in San Benito off of business 77 and they had plenty of milk eggs everything they didn't look like the war zone that our local Walmart is. Certain items they are limiting you to a set number. which seems pretty sensible since people are buying like morons around here.
