Texas

Hiya, I'm relatively new to Texas but I've had my boy Aiolos for about a year. I'm actually in Mesquite near Dallas. Any one interested in being friends please drop me a message because I don't know many people in the area! I'd love to purchase some hens but I don't know who to contact or how to get my hands on them! I keep trying TSC and they're always out by the time I have a day off of work. :( It's very disheartening.
We order from idealhatchery.com a bit in this household. I am partial to the Sumatra living in hawk country. Anyhow expect a phone call from your mailman at 5 am if you order chicks.

New chickens could someone tell me what breed they are? :idunno
We added 15 new chickens to our small flock but I don't know what they are can someone help? We have a few RIR and a few Ameraucana but I've never seen chickens like these before.

As you can see they vary from almost blonde to dark red with white markings. The white feathers are random not any organized design. And don't believe it that blondes are dumb. The blond chicken was the first one to manage to escape and join our other flock. Then figured out how to get back with her own flock. The other closeup shows one of the chickens with a comb folded over. They are already laying although the shells are pretty thin.

I'll be waiting for ya'll to tell us what we bought.

They look very similar to our sexlinks....

FWIW the TSC up here in Denton still had some chicks a couple days ago and our local feed store can still order some from ideal out west of us IIRC.

Welcome.

Well we have out done the weather forecast for sure!

We had several waves of 2-5"/per hour rainfall rates.

Case in point, in time to take pic, deal with one of our dogs, answer a kiddos question & try to load this picture it's now at 3.65"....

Is anyone willing to rescue a Belgian Malionios? His time here with us is limited. Additionally he is not chicken safe we have removed several from his mouth. Additionally he has killed a cat of ours. Vet records are available.
