Texas

I am near bryan/college station. We w are hoping for some rain, but I'm not seeing it. Hotter than hot.....but this IS Texas in July. Aug and Sept are always hotter. Cool down maybe in Nov?
I bet you can expect a brief relief soon as this system rolls through. You might see a day or 2 without a 90F plus a breeze.

Odd I just looked at another model and it shows HOU area as the target. Time will tell. Oh well someone on the Texas thread will feel it.

KBTX in college station is leaning towards this model. Trying to get rain hopes up. We shall see. Mother Nature is powerful-and female-with her own ideas on what, where, when and why. We shall see....

I am also B/CS. We had rumbles and grumbles all day yesterday but not much rain, just a tease. Temperature dropped 15 degrees though so I'll take it!
Don't worry, it's back up today.. 😒

On a diffrent subject ...I just bought tickets to Santas Wonderland near yall in B/CS!! It's about a 3 hour drive for me but we went 2 years ago and loved it. They were having a Christmas in July sale at HALF PRICE!! I paid $25 a ticket. I'm looking for the closest rv park to there. Any advise?
Have fun! I drive past every day but never bothered to go until last Christmas. We froze our butts off but it was a blast.
I haven't personally been there, but there is an RV park directly across the road from Santa's Wonderland called St. Nick's Green. All I know is that they're Irish themed and have decent online reviews. :)

I checked on St. Nicks Rv park and they called me back . They are remodeling and will not be open for this year. Supposedly there is another one about one mile from Santas Wonderland but I really can't find out much about it. We have a small 21 foot Chinook motorhome. We actually can unhook from rv space and drive to wonderland. It takes up no more room than a large duelly crew cab truck!!

Darn!
The next closest I believe is Lazy G RV Park. They have mediocre reviews for whatever reason.
The next after that is RV Haven Park with much better reviews. They're about 15 minutes from Wonderland (aren't we all?), seems nice.
I'm assuming you don't want to park on campus, but if you're fine with that then there's also plenty of overnight RV spots intended for the football crowd. :)
Hope that's helpful.
