Texas

@AllenK RGV thanks! I contacted both the conroe breeders but haven't heard back yet :/ hopefully something will pop up. If we were doing a weekend trip your direction I'd totally have us swing by and take your babies, unfortunately, we just took time off and went to hill country for a week so I don't have the time to head that far out again :( I'm sure someone will take em, they are sooo cute😍

Sorry to be spammy, but South Texas is out of the cone of probability! Woohoo! Just a weak storm anyway and a fast mover. @RUNuts looks like you have some yardwork to do and secure your trash can. At least you have your weekend plans firmed up now.

Thanks for the warning. That means you aren't mowing the grass this weekend for me? :D

Need some rain. Don't want it all at once though. There are 6 bunches of bananas forming. Hopefully, they will develop and we won't frost this year. I should thin them out, they are growing like weeds now.

Unfortunately my lawn mower just died or I'd for sure make that drive:gig. I'm glad though that after 45 minutes on hold with Greenworks Pro tech support they are just shipping me a new one. Seems odd since 2 listed authorized service centers are 35 miles away, so sounds like I am picking up a spare one. Pretty darn sure I just need the PCB replaced on it that cannot be more than a 25-40 buck repair.

That looks entirely too rural for Denton. Sure you aren't showing us pictures of Krum? Lightning photos were nice too! Way to few oak trees for the Southlake side of the County.
So, you are laser accurate but, I thought I told you in the past few months that I use Denton for generalization.

Yeah we live on a hill with some serious quality line of sight views.

I have also been very alert on the modeling for both storms.

Trivia tidbit. 1933 was the last time on record we had 2 named storms hit the nation at the same time.... There is still a small chance this may happen with Marco & Laura. If 1) they hold together & 2) speed-wise they sync up & 3) they stay named

Hey there. As a wild card option I can PM you or vice versa..... If you want to take a gander at my silkie tag teaming hens thread. We might end up with a few that might need a new home in a few weeks to months? We do have a couple Non-silkie Roo's we need to re-home but that's a different story. (shrugs)

My local weather channel was saying 1959 as well. I have no direct knowledge of either season as I hadn't been conceived for either year.

You might have told me that and I might have been drinking when I read it. The dogs all just alerted me to trouble outside and seems a neighbor dog got caught on this side of the fence by our pack. I do not think it will be brave enough to be back from the cries I just heard. I do not have much empathy for little 30 pound dogs crawling/digging under my fence at night to face down 2-70+ pounders and 3-50+ pounders. My dogs are not vicious but do not appreciate foreigners scent marking their side of the fenceline. I do hope their dog is still alive but not going into scorpion country to look tonight just another Darwin award winner in my book. Same for coyotes we have lost a few too many chicken to neighbor dogs. The coyotes are smarter and do not cross on to our property. One more glass of wine and back to bed for me.

@electrycmonk thanks! I think we've decided we're ok keeping our current 6 as is but I'll be shocked if we have all hens(only happened once in 12+ years) denton is a few hrs away but if you're rehoming in a few months hit me up and we may be interested in turning it into a day trip :)
